Set in the heart of Barcelona, a city known for its Mediterranean coastline, historic neighborhoods, and vibrant creative energy, Open Iberian Barcelona 2025 took place on April 5–6, 2025. Building on the success of GT Iberian Barcelona 2024, the event brought together a larger player base and introduced new features, including a Golden Ticket to the Atlanta Championships, giving top competitors a pathway to the global Warhammer 40K stage.
The tournament featured a five-round Swiss system followed by a Top 4, with players fielding 2,000-point armies on tables equipped with escenografía Iberian. The event emphasized both competitive play and community engagement, attracting participants from across Spain and beyond to enjoy immersive battles and storytelling on beautifully crafted terrain.
As a show of support for the tabletop gaming community, Jucoci sponsored the event, showcasing its miniature storage and transport solutions. Designed for Warhammer and other tabletop miniatures, Jucoci’s products help protect carefully painted models while providing practical and reliable transport for multi-day tournaments.
Organized by Arnau Garcia and the Iberian Warhammer community, Open Iberian Barcelona 2025 successfully combined high-level gameplay with the cultural and visual appeal of Barcelona. The event offered both new and returning players a welcoming environment to experience the hobby, and it highlighted the continued growth and enthusiasm of the Iberian Warhammer community.
