Painting Handle V2-01

Just to put this into perspective, my palm is about 4" deep and 8" base of palm to fingertips, so as you can see, this fits quite nicely and allows for easy turning of the cap. Certainly a big improvement on using old paint pots . . . . .

This handle comes with 4 replaceable magnetic bases that can be switched very easily. The base can be rotated with fingers you hold the handle with, but does not rotate by itself when you paint - great
feature.

Metal brace is very useful, convenient and sturdy. Most of braces of other handles curve more above the mini, this one not so much (I haven't tried other handles and don't know if it is important).
The handle and the brace are very large, which is convenient for my adult male hands. You can also put the handle down on the table and the brace won't allow the handle to roll.

For starters I thought that size and weight is a little bit too much, but then I understood that this is actually A BENEFIT because it allows your hands to be more stable, and there is a lot of area to brace your brush hand against your handle hand or the handle itself.

It comes with a little bit with orange putty for mounting, but I have found that original Blu Tack is so good for all things mounting, so I never even tried the orange one that comes with the handle. If you have bits of Blu Tack putty stuck to your mini after de-mounting - just touch your mini with same Blu Tack again, it will "automagically" pick up all the left-over bits and even clean that spot from dust and plastic shaves (unless you mixed fresh paint/varnish/glue with Blu Tack in which case you might need some more drastic measures).

The first thing I noticed out of the package was the wood and the quality. Citadel and other handles don't necessarily feel cheap, but nothing is pure metal and the plastic always feel flimsy or too light. This is a solid wood body with good weight to keep it upright. The metal handle feels strong, but has a tiny give to be comfortable.

The wooden caps you put your mini on are wonderful too. There are four total. They are lined with thin sheet metal on the bottom and stick by a strong magnet to the handle. This actually gave me an idea for customization.

I several caps to tailor to types of minis I'm often painting. For example, I put a strong sheet magnet on the top of a cap. I now put magnets on the bottom of my mini. They stick SO well to this (and my boxes + terrain + shelves). You can also put magnets on the bottom of the mini but nonmagnetic sheet metal on a wooden top. I've also modified another one to have a tweezer handle for minis not on a base.

Highly recommend. It's a step above all the other paint handles I've tried!

Okay so it won't be useful for the larger miniatures but for your tabletop RPG characters this is a must. The handle in comfortable and designed well for smaller hands as well as larger hands, it very comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The putty is great at holding the miniatures to the bases, it comes with 4 bases that are magnetic. It is a little stiff to rotate but there is absolutely no way they will fall from the handle.

Trust me if you airbrush or paint, your gonna want one of these! Theres so many different varients to choose from but having something to hold and paint from all angles of your figure without messing up the paint is honestly great! The metal bar on the side is an extra precaution at keeping your hands away from the figurine aswell which makes this product just perfect.
