Easy to assemble, but it may not seem so.
First, wrap the guard around the holder until it clips on the groove. Next, squeeze the two rods together until they are lined up, then slide on the metal fastener. Lastly, put on the protective cover and you're done!

I've reviewed another painting handle like this in the past and this one is very good. It's comfortable, it's actually easier and simpler to put together than my previous one. It is a bit shorter so it doesn't feel quite as good in larger hands. It does, however, have a rubberized tip that goes over the wire as part of assembly. This is comfortable to rest your finger on while going in for heavy detail work which is nice.
My only gripe is that I wish they would give you just one more cap to mount your miniature on! Most tabletop games have squads that are in 5's. If you are trying to batch paint a Warhammer army, lets say, you are always going to be short a cap when doing squads. I also don't see where you can buy more caps either for this brand so yeah, only 4. Not the biggest deal, but 5 would be perfect.
Other than that, a solid painting handle. Solid A.

I didn't know how much I would love this until I tried it. This is so helpful for painting minis - I can't believe I have never tried something like this before. Worth the price.
