I knew this was small when it came but much smaller than the daler rowney ive used for years. I set it up earlier in the week and found myself grumbling while doing it, not believing my paint would be usable. Well a week on, i opened it up expecting to have to replace the paint but lo and behold, its retained its moisture beautifully. Im delighted... dont judge a book. Would be perfect if a little bigger but its a solid artists product. Recommend.

This is singlehandedly the BEST thing I have purchased for painting since getting started painting minis. This wet palate has DRASTICALLY improved my painting skills! Seriously, if you paint figurines, models, miniatures or anything like that, buy this and find a couple videos on youtube that show how to use a wet palate; you'll thank me later!
The ONLY thing about this product that you need to be aware of is, when you wash it, you need to keep something on top of it to weigh it down when it dries or it will try to curl up while drying. It's not a big issues as it goes back to normal when wet, but something to keep mindful of.

I’m just stating out with acrylic gouache and wanted something to keep the paint from drying out and this does the trick. You just wet the little pad and place your palette paper on top. The lid is great and keep the paint good to go for the next day if you didn’t have a chance to finish. Really good if you have a custom color you mixed because it’s so hard to get it exactly the same each time.

Comes with plenty of wet palet papers and seals well when you need it to. The valve on the top lets you adjust how much if any air you want to flow thru so you can easily keep paint going for a solid week if you really wanted.
